We, at Assure Build, decided that we needed to be recognised for our strict adhesion to H&S when on site. We have recently been audited by Alcumus 'SafeContractor" and have been accredited!
As a company this accreditation is important to prove to our customers that we take the safety of our employees, their staff and the public very seriously.
The audit consisted of various checks, from analysing our RAMS to our anti slavery policy.
Our site audits were also checked to ensure we had documentation to cover all aspects of site health and safety. RAMS, toolbox talks and plant checks are just some of the paperwork that HSE will want to see signed and in the site H&S folder, along with PAT testing. We do an onsite audit and this is also filed in the site folder.
We use Citation for our H&S and HR. This platform gives us the ability to send training to our employees so they all are competent with manual handling, working at heights, asbestos awareness. Although our employees are constantly being trained practically, this is also a valuable tools and all our CSCS installers are certified for the above.
